From Me to You
A letter to the soul: Channeling what hurts you into what heals you; when weakness becomes strength
I am a poet through and through I pass my mind from me to you Until I die I’ll pour my soul Into the words that make me whole I am a person Flesh and bone Decalcify my heart of stone Lay my darkness down to rest Allow my light the chance to crest From me to you I bare my core So that you might see me more Now you’ll know what I have carried Coiled and twisted, deeply buried I am still healing This I know Although it’s hard to admit so I’ll weep the fear till lungs feel hollow And pray that it should cease to follow The words, at last, they make it real Give me a place to truly feel Release the pressure in my chest From years of agonized unrest Now I might finally learn to give The joy in me a chance to live I am a poet through and through The words I bleed will live in you If I can’t write then I can’t mend Give broken bones the strength to bend From me to you, until the end

"Now I might finally learn to give
The joy in me a chance to live" ❤️❤️
🙏 Beautiful.
I loved these parts:
“From me to you
I bare my core
So that you might see me more
Now you’ll know what I have carried
Coiled and twisted, deeply buried”
“The words, at last, they make it real
Give me a place to truly feel”
❤️🩹
